NEKO

We build robotics and AI into things people already own. A lamp, a clock, a piggy bank. Nothing that asks your home to make room for it, and nothing that does one clever trick and then sits there.

Principles

We want everyday robotics to become a category. These are the rules we set for ourselves before building anything.

Robotics

Everyday things, not machines

Most robots ask you to rearrange your life around them. We would rather work on what is already on the shelf. A lamp that reads the room. A piggy bank that argues with you about money. We are not interested in a robot that waves an arm to prove it can, and we would like to be the ones who start the category that does something else.

Intelligence

The AI keeps nothing

Perception runs on the object. It reacts to what happens in the room, then forgets it. Nothing is recorded and nothing is uploaded, so no model is ever trained on footage of your kitchen.

Security

We hold none of your data

There is no database of you on our side, because nothing sensitive ever reaches us. Anything that has to persist gets written to the chain instead, where you can read it yourself.

On-chain

State lives on the chain

Whatever an object needs to remember is public and checkable by anyone, including you. We read addresses you have declared. You never connect a wallet or sign anything, so there is nothing left to revoke afterwards.

Community

The next object is not ours

Objects come from engineers outside the studio. Bring a mechanism or a whole design, and the token is how you get paid for it. What we build next is decided by the people who build it.

The next robot in your home will not be a machine you made room for. It will be something you already own, waking up.

So we put something there.

  • 01

    Shell

The form stays exactly as it was. Everything we add goes underneath it.

  • 02

    Mechanism

Enough mechanics to move, and no more. You read the object from across the room.

  • 03

    Perception

It follows what happens around it on its own hardware, then forgets.

  • 04

    Memory

Whatever it has to keep is written to the chain, where you can read it too.

Lab

What's on the bench

Mechanisms being tested, shells coming off the printer, perception running on the desk next to us. None of it ships yet. You get to watch the objects while they are still ugly.
